Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics

One of the busiest departments of the college, the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics aims at “Increasing the life span of teeth”. Towards this end, department offers root canal treatment, endodontic surgeries, metallic non-metallic and aesthetic restorations. UG and PG students gain thorough knowledge in areas such as restorative dentistry and endodontic treatment which includes endodontic microsurgery, regenerative endodontics and management of traumatic injuries. The department also teaches students, the procedures involved in aesthetic dentistry. The department is fully equipped with facilities such as, thermoplasticized gutta percha system, rotary endodontic system, power bleaching, LED light curing unit, endosonics and a complete ceramics lab.

The department is also equipped with LASER and operating microscope to aid in delivering quality treatment. The department is involved in Undergraduate and post graduate training.
